Have you used Charlie Recruit to post a job on a free job board, but you can't see the job yet? The below FAQs will hopefully explain why that might be!

LinkedIn

  1. LinkedIn may be seeing you as a recruitment agency - if you can see a green tick in the Status column of the job, suggesting it has been posted successfully, LinkedIn's algorithm could be blocking the job as they don't allow agencies to post jobs:

This isn't something Charlie can support you with unfortunately, so we instead recommend you speak with your LinkedIn representative (if you have one), or, follow the steps they have outlined in this article.

  2. Member is restricted - if you're seeing this error message in the status bar of a job you've tried to post to LinkedIn, we recommend you speak with your LinkedIn representative (if you have one), or, follow the steps they have outlined in this article (this isn't something Charlie can support you with).

  3. Contact your administrator - if you're seeing an error message like the below, asking you to contact your administrator, please let us know. We can help you with this!

  4. It can take up to 4 hours for a job to be live on LinkedIn - if you've followed the steps outlined in our LinkedIn article, but you're still not seeing the job after 4 hours, please let us know via live chat (simply click the Charlie logo in the bottom right of the system).

Other free job boards

  1. Once the job is toggled on in Recruit to be shared on free job boards, it is down to that job board to scrape for new jobs, and then post. Unfortunately, Charlie doesn't have too much control over this, and we rely on them to scrape regularly. Generally, it takes 24-72 hours for the jobs to be posted on the free job boards after they have been added to Recruit, but this can vary.

We have created multiple help articles that will support you with posting your jobs to different job boards - all of these articles can be found here.
