Note: After you share your job to your company's Indeed account, you need to sponsor them in order to make them available to candidates. You can read more about sponsored jobs in Indeed on their website.
Note: Any edits to job must be completed in Recruit, not directly in Indeed.
Connect Recruit to Indeed
To connect your company's Indeed page to your Recruit account, head to Settings - Integrations - Company Integrations and toggle Indeed on.
Type in your company name exactly as it appears in Indeed, keeping in mind that these are case-sensitive. Please note, if your company name does not match the company name you've used in Indeed, the job may not post - for example if your company name includes 'Limited', this cannot be written as 'Ltd'. We recommend double checking how your company name appears in Indeed prior to integrating.
If you already have an Indeed Campaign, type it here. Otherwise leave it blank and you can always define it later through Indeed.
Post a job to Indeed
Once you have connected Indeed to your Recruit account, you will be able to post your jobs to Indeed from the Sharing stage of job set up. Simply toggle on Indeed under Paid Job Boards.
After Indeed pulls job posts (every four hours), your jobs will appear on Indeed as flagged. You need to sponsor them to be available to candidates. To do that, you need to go to the campaign tab on Indeed and create a new campaign adding the job that was just transferred.
Editing a job
If your job has posted to Indeed and you now need to make edits to it, you will need to do this in Recruit, not in Indeed. If changes are made to a job in Indeed directly, the integration may break and you may not see the candidate applications in Recruit. Once an edit has been saved in Recruit, it will be down to Indeed to pull those updates through (this should take a similar time to posting a new job, but please be patient). If you have any questions about this, or are unsure of the best way to make edits, please ask us at [email protected].
FAQ
I can not see my job in Indeed, what should I do?
Make sure you have entered the correct company name when you first connected to your Indeed account. Company names are case sensitive in Indeed, use lower and upper case as appears on Indeed. Please note, if your company name does not match the company name you've used in Indeed, the job may not post - for example if your company name includes 'Limited', this cannot be written as 'Ltd'. We recommend double checking how your company name appears in Indeed prior to integrating.
Indeed pulls jobs every 4 hours, make sure you have waited long enough.
If the job still does not appear on Indeed, you may need to get in touch with your representative at Indeed. There could be a few reasons for Indeed to not show the job on your account, even though they have it.
The transferred job from Indeed only becomes available to candidates after they are sponsored. Make sure you create a campaign for the transferred jobs.
‘I’m not receiving the candidates in Recruit, but I can see candidates on my Indeed account’ - this will be because you've made an edit to the job directly in Indeed, not in Recruit, which has broken the sync.
