One of the most popular ways to find candidates for a role is via LinkedIn - we offer two ways for you to showcase your jobs via LinkedIn:
We'll cover both of these options in this article!
Note: We do not support integration with LinkedIn's Easy Apply functionality or premium job ad posting directly through Recruit. If this is something you wish to use, your candidates will apply and be stored in LinkedIn. You can then choose to import any candidates you wish through the candidate import process. You can learn more about importing candidates here.
Using the URL redirect method when creating a LinkedIn advert
After you've created your job in Recruit, you can copy your job URL and use this behind the 'Apply' button for your LinkedIn advert.
To copy your job URL, head to the jobs tab -> tap the three dots next to the relevant job -> 'Copy Job URL':
You can now create your job directly on LinkedIn:
Step 1 of this includes copying over your job description and other important information related to the role
Step 2 lets you customise where you would like to receive qualified candidates. Here you should set the following:
Receive applicants: 'At an external website'
Website address: Paste the job URL you've copied from Recruit
Once you hit save, your job will be live on LinkedIn and any candidates who apply will be directed to your Charlie Recruit job page!
Note: Depending on your LinkedIn plan, there may be costs associated with adding jobs to your company page - this is something you will be able to handle and manage with LinkedIn and not with Charlie Recruit.
Setting up your company integration to post vacancies on LinkedIn from your company
If you're the Recruit Account Owner or an Admin on Charlie Recruit, you can set up a company-level integration with LinkedIn which will enable you to post jobs from your company page as a 'social media' post when setting up a job.
The person enabling this integration must have admin access for their company LinkedIn account for jobs to post to these pages and set up this integration. If they are an admin for multiple companies, then the job will post from all companies they are an admin for so we recommend checking this before you go ahead.
To set up this integration:
Head to the settings cog and find 'Company Integrations' under the Integrations subsection
Hit 'Connect' next to LinkedIn and you'll be directed to LinkedIn to sign in to your account
Follow the rest of the instructions and process from LinkedIn
Hit 'Save'
Now, you can toggle LinkedIn on and off when creating your ad for a post to be created advertising the role from your company page which will look like the example below
