Closing a job advert for new applications is super straight forward on Charlie Recruit. You can use this feature if you have received enough applications and have found a few potential candidates, but have not yet made a hiring decision.
This will essentially allow you to continue using the kanban board and taking your candidates through the applications and interview stages, but will prevent new candidates from applying so your recruitment period is not prolonged.
How to close a role for new applications?
To close a job listing for new applications, you will need to follow the below steps:
Head to the "Jobs" section on the lefthand side
Locate the role you wish to close for new applications
Click on the 3 dots on the right side of that role and click "edit"
Once you see the job Settings and details, from the right side click "Job Sharing"
You will then be presented with 3 options. you will need to select "Close for new applicants" and then "Save" from the bottom of the page.
And just like that, your job listing is now closed for new applications, but the kandban can still be utilised and your recruitment can still continue until the right hire is found.
