Store and track Bonuses on Charlie

A quick guide on adding bonuses for your team!

Note: Only super admins can do this.

You can use Charlie to record and track bonuses for your team! First you'll need to create a new bonus type and once that's set you're ready to apply it to your team members. You then have the ability to easily track all bonus types by building a Custom Report.

To add a new bonus type

  1. Head to People on the righthand navigation

  2. Select Settings

  3. Click on the Payroll tab

  4. Scroll down to Bonus Types

  5. Click "Add New Bonus Type"

  6. Name bonus type

  7. All done! πŸŽ‰

Adding a bonus for team members

  1. Head to People on the righthand navigation

  2. Select Settings

  3. Click on the Payroll tab

  4. Expand the office the team member is in under Salary Adjustments

  5. Click on the cog next to their name

  6. Select "Add New Bonus"

  7. Enter the bonus amount and starting date

  8. Click "Add Bonus"

  9. Click Save and you're done!

Adding a bonus directly on a team member profile

  1. Head to their profile

  2. Click on Pay from the tab menu

  3. Click on the padlocked Salary section

  4. Click on the cog wheel

  5. Select the "Add A New Bonus" button

  6. Enter the details of the new bonus

  7. Click Save and you're done!
