Note: Only Admins and Super Admins can schedule review cycles, but any permission can be a reviewer if selected by the creator of the cycle.
As a reviewer you will have visibility of your reviewee's feedback, your feedback as well as any peer feedback if collected in the cycle you are participating in. You will be responsible for completing two review steps, your own reflection of the reviewee's performance as well as the review summary.
Your reflection would refer to the feedback you wish to give to the individual you are reviewing based on their performance since their last performance review. This could align with their submission (if already submitted) or differ based on what you have observed during the time leading up to this review.
The review summary, would refer to the final step before marking a review as complete. The general Charlie advice for this would be to meet with your reviewee and discuss the feedback you have both submitted. This allows you both to digest the feedback that was already submitted and discuss as well as align on the goals and skills you want the reviewee to focus on until their next performance review.
To complete a review as a reviewer
There are a few ways to locate the review you are indenting to complete:
Though the email invitation you will have received when the cycle was launched
Through the Grow -> Reviews section on Charlie
Through the reviewee's Profile -> Grow (only applies if you are their Team Leader, Line Manager, or an Admin permission)
Once you have located the review, it is very simple to submit your answers. Simply expand the areas you are responsible for, and start adding your feedback.
Charlie will automatically saved your feedback as a draft, so you will have the option to leave the page and return if you need to gather your thoughts or find examples that you wish to include in your feedback.
Please ensure that you give Charlie a few seconds to save your feedback, as it will be lost if the draft is not saved.
Once you have responded to all of the questions
When you have provided all of your feedback and you are ready to submit them to the reviewee, you can navigate towards the top of the page and simply click submit responses.
Do note: that any submitted answers cannot be edited or deleted, so give yourself the chance to read through your feedback one last time before sharing this with the reviewee.
The final step of a review
As mentioned earlier, the final step to mark a performance review as completed would be the review summary.
When all other feedback has been submitted and you have met your reviewee to discuss and align, you can return to the review to complete that section. You will follow the same steps.
Navigate to the review cycle and expand the review summary. You can allow Charlie to save your responses as a draft if you wish to take some time and add a few other pieces post-discussion. Once you are ready to share your summary simple press the "share responses" button, and you are all done.
Do note: that any submitted answers cannot be edited or deleted, so give yourself the chance to read through your feedback one last time before sharing this with the reviewee.
Note: Your feedback will be visible to the reviewee and all Super Admins specifically. These are the default visibility settings on Charlie.
