Note: Only Super Admins and Admins can hide birthdays and anniversaries.

As a default, all employee's birthdays and work anniversaries are visible to all team members on the account via the Homepage, Calendar, and, if using the Slack integration, in the daily digest posted to your elected Slack channel.

We appreciate that every company is different in the way they deal with this information, and depending on your company culture, you may not wish for the whole team to view their colleague's birthdays or work anniversaries, and so we have introduced a setting to allow you to take control of this.

If you would like to ensure these dates are not widely visible, just head to Company -> Settings -> Announcements, and simply tick the boxes for the information you wish to hide.

It's important to note that Admins, Team Leaders and Line Managers will still be notified of birthdays and work anniversaries in their weekly email digest. Super Admins will also receive notifications only if a team member has no team leader or line manager.
