Note: Only Admins and Super Admins have the ability to set up and sent signature requests in Charlie.
The Charlie e-sign offers a few different flows when requesting signatures digitally. This article will guide you through the "Freeform" signature flow.
Note:Signatures can only be requested from Charlie users. Any users outside of your organisation cannot be included in the signature requests you send through Charlie.
How to request Freeform signatures:
Head to the employee profile or locate the relevant document folder
Click the pen icon to set up the signatures required
Select the people you wan to sign the document
and the click "Send request"
Once you have completed the above steps, all participants will receive a notification via email, to review and sign the document you have sent as seen below.
Things to note:
In freeform signature requests, all signatories will be notified at the same time, and as the name of the flow suggests, there won't be specific fields for the individuals to sign. Instead the individuals will select the placement and fields they use to digitally sign the document.
Since the requests are sent at the same time, there is no specific order in which the individuals sign. This will mean that whoever signs second, third and so on, will be able to view the signatures of the the individuals that signed before them.

Once all signatures have been collected:
Once all signatures have been collected all signatories will receive a confirmation email and a PDF copy of the document they just signed as seen bellow:
Additionally, an audit log of signatures will be available in Charlie through the document folder this document is stored in.
You will have the ability to view the audit log by clicking the pen icon on the initial document or the signed copy, and you will be able to download the signed copy by clicking on the document.
And just like that, you are ready to gather some freeform signatures.
