A guide to candidate statues during your hiring process

Written by Alexandros Tofarides

Custom candidate statuses are a functionality supporting you in ensuring candidate progress accurately reflects real-world hiring activity that may occur outside the platform.

This enables hiring managers or users involved in the recruitment process to update the status at any stage of the kanban. Any status changes are applied immediately and are timestamped, as well as available in your filtering options allowing you to view candidates with a specific status applied to them.

Updating a custom status from the candidate profile:

To update a custom candidate field:

  1. Navigate to your kanban

  2. Open the candidate profile you wish to update

  3. Click on "Other"

  4. Click on "Status update"

  5. Select the status you wan to add to this candidate or create a new one

  6. Click update status

This will now update the status of the candidate and give you the ability to find any candidates with that status when filtering your kanban.
