Note: Only Admins and Super admin will have the ability to do this.
Automating the checklist assignment during the creation of a new profile means that you can streamline the onboarding workflows associated with new starters.
Auto-assign multiple checklists at the same time either to named team members, the new starter and/ or their line manager.
Choose due dates related to the new starter's key dates.
This means you can remind and assign onboarding workflows to team members in your business without manual intervention, as soon as the new profile is created.
To achieve this, you can follow the below steps:
Head to Grow -> Checklists
Click on "Templates" at the top of the page
Click "Create a template"
Select "create a new starter template"
You will then be asked to select who this checklist will be for, The New starter, their Line manager or a specific Charlie user (Maybe an HR or Payroll person)
Once you have typed the title and selected who this Checklist is for you can start adding the individual tasks to the checklist like you would with any other Checklist.
On Each task you can add one of the dynamic fields "new starter" or "Line manager" or leave the field as "assigned to the checklist owner"
Alternatively you can add specific task owners or attach documents and links.
Click 'save and launch' and select a dynamic dues date from the dropdown: start date, first week, first month, probation end date.
Once your new starter checklist template has been launched a new checklist will be created and assigned each time a new starter is added to Charlie.
Be sure you add a line manage, start date or probation date when filling out the new starter form to get the most from the dynamic checklist fields.
Please note, if the checklists is assigned to a dynamic line manager but the new starter is not assigned a line manager in the onboarding form, the checklist will assign to the admin who created to checklist.
