We believe that the approach that best supports the growth of your team is when both reviewer and reviewee prepare and share their answers before a meeting and then come together for a conversation. However, we understand that in some circumstances and within some organisations there are reasons why reviewers do not share feedback before a meeting.
In these cases we suggest that you:
Make it clear to participants within the launch email that reviewees will share feedback ahead of time but reviewer feedback will be shared afterwards
Take this into account when looking at the summary statistics of the progress being made in the cycle - you’ll need to ignore step 2.
